im fitting an xe into my 1.0 tomorow and when i removed the 1.0 there was three wires to the starter?? cant remember what colours 1 was thich red thanks

the red / black one is the switch for the starter which goes to the 10mm (I think) an thick red one is the main power which goes to the 13mm on the starter. It'll either earth through the engine or have a big ass earth that goes onto it as well but thats normally on the mounting.
Then you have blue / white to the 8mm on the alternator and red onto the 10mm. Im sure thats right sure someone will correct me though lol
make sure you wire a 12v feed for the coil as the 1.0 feed isn't 12v.

i know what goes to red top one but which do i use off the 1.0 starter bit where there is three wires going to it
also i thought that the coil only ran off the plug from the loom

what does the blue white wire do, i havent got a battery light when it is started and just with the ignition on, half way home battery went dead lol
