Whilst im waiting for new parts for the nova project to resume, I got itchy fingers... unfortunaly I picked my daily to 'play' with....

It's a 1.3 Fiesta with only 30k on the clocks - it was damn tidy:

Much better:D

I was only meant to lower it -35mm, but the springs that I recieved where -60mm:) Just goes to show that lowering makes a car look a damn sight better. I hope there will be no more updates but don't hold your breath...

(Will remove if any die-hards are offended:roll: lol )

Fiar play mate, remaining Fiesta's that aint dying of terminal rust make quite nice cars TBH

I don't really like them, this one just came up cheap and at the right time. (From memory) they seem a better car to drive than a nova, I recon they'd take 'big' power better as well, but they are sooooo boring standard and chavy when 'adjusted'

They do take big power better then a Nova TBH. Only thing is, the rot far worser then a Nova lol

Really! Haven't found a spec on this one, neither my mates old one, which TBF only had 18k on when he brought it.

My mates got a Mk3.5 1.1 thats been lowered on a full gmax kit, has front and rear strut braces, new bushes all round and Ztec S rear beam, it does handle really well, straight line speed is non existant though lol he can litteraly drive it flat out on the corners too.

thats how my mates was, gmax kit, anti-roll bars, brand new mounts, bushes, etc and sticky tyres - didn't really need to slow down for any corner. The Zetec rear beam is disc, is it not?

PS: just remembered i have mk3.5 mirrors in the garage to spray. D'oh.

IIRC the steering racks on those are made of cheese. My mum used to have one and me, my stepdad and my neighbour each had a turn replacing it lol

It virtually dissintegrated with rust too.

Nope still drum, just meant to be stiffer, I like the way ford always weld the front wings on there cars, they should realise that they will inevitably rust as its a Ford lol

Looks good Ash. To be fair having something other than a Nova to drive should help with the inspiration to 'crack on'.

Should help with the resale value of the Fezza too, prolly doubled its value now its decked!

lol^ The nova is awaiting some big developments soon (not a bigblock btw:thumb:)

It's all ready sold when I'm done with it. Had 3 people wanting to buy it the week I picked it up, for twice what I paid. Couldn't be ****d to find another car at the time tho.
