after beeing on te ford scene for a few years im back into the good old novas again so yesterday i baught myself a nice courtney 2.0l 16v nova with a wide arch kit, coilovers & few other bits & bobs & a private plate that reads ''BI6 VMG'' i think, but the lad has kept the compomotives that where on it so im struggling to find a decent set of wheels to suit it so if anybody could post a few pictures of novas with wide arches on that would be great:thumb:

i also seen a wide arched nova somewhere where the side skirts had been removed, is this an easy enough job to do when the body kit is still on the car or is it not worth the hasle (the car needs to be painted anyway)

also 1 more thing, what is a wide track kit exactly??

much abliged, smits:thumb: :thumb:

Exactly what it says on the tin; a kit that widens out the track of the car (instead of having to add daft offset wheels or spacers lol)

Mine has wide front arches and daft spacers (25mm), handles just fine but does torque steer a bit.

IIRC, the rear was pretty much just a 50mm spacer that went between the stub axle and rear beam, the front included new bottom arms, tie bars & brackets, steering rack spacers, hubs ? uniballs ? top mounts ?
It was pretty pricey as well, about ?1000 !! think Walden Engineering used to / still do (?) make them.

They still list the kit...

Walden was bought out by Clark Motorsport (01339 885666) and they fabricate the kit. Rich is more or less spot on with the description of it too, but to be precise the kit set me back ?1100
