i have a 1.2 single point injection nova and wist fit the engine out of an gte i broke up a while back.

what is the easieest way to do so????
carbs???
how will the ecu wire up to make it run???
is it even possible????


Any help would be much appreciated!!!

I fitted the 1.6MPI (GTE engine) in to my 1.4SPI Nova. It's easy enough to wire the ECU up if you have the engine loom for the GTE engine - search on here for the wires to join.

However the SPI loom (well mine was) is one massive thing so I removed it all and fitted a 1.2 carb loom to wire in the engine loom to - made things a bit neater.

Just keep the 1.6 engine ECU, youv've already got a fuel injection tank, pump and lines, so keeping the 1.6 on injection is far easier.

^ Just to add to that, you'll need to replace your in-tank SPI fuel pump with a MPI pump out of a MPI mk3 Astra or similar.

yes but is the single and multi point any different with Co2 sensors an stuff???

can i run a 4 branch with it as i have an old one from a race car that we no longer use 4 branches on anymore???
