mk1 convrs 2 mk2

if i had a mk1 shell bare miniumum, could i apply all the mk2 parts without modifying them at all? is it just a case of all parts fit?

Agree MK1s are cooler, but yes you can.... If you must.

Everything will just swap over, only things you've gotta do is drill a couple of holes in the shell to secure the sides of the rear bumper, also the oblong slots in the slam panel to clip the grill into - the 2 outside slots dont line up so you've gotta cut some new ones or (what i did) just chop the 2 outside clips off the grill and just use the 2 center clips.
