Might sound like a daft question i know, but ive looked everywhere.

Found one on autotrader. 1.2 merit, white, gsi skirtins, gse bumpers (or other way around) etc etc ?750, but it was gone b4 i could speak to my parents....

Ive looked on this forum, but not a lot happening.

Im 18, not started driving lessons yet (been sitting around since Oct 21st last year....11 of them LOL!)

Still in Full-time education....

If that gives u some idea of what car im looking for. Because of insurance etc...

Can ne one post sum links of websites/dealers etc.....

Pref with sum exterior work done already(but not major)...and mebbe even alloys at a push!

Thanx!

Try the autotrader website (if you haven't already) rather than the magazine. Also it might be worth having a look in Loot and in the cars for sale section of whatever is your local newspaper.

You can pick-up a tidy 1.2 for around ?500 and a slightly modified one for around ?750.

personally i wouldn't get a modified one (even if it's just bodywork), as it's likely to have been done by a young wee one who fancies himself as a bit of a racer and ragged it's nuts off. If you know what i mean.

You can get a standard car (make sure it's a Nova), second hand wheels and other body-bits and fit them yourself (and you'll learn how do to stuff like that then) and all for around ?750.

Then rag it's nutts off, before you sell it.

autotrader.co.uk just make sure you extend your search more than 40 miles (usually default) - when I search from my postcode area (Glasgow) with a 200 mile radius I got 80 that came up - some nice ones too. Try local free ad paper also. What about ebay website, local car auctions in yer area - went to a local car auction with a m8 the other nite they sold a mint white nova SR for ?200! no mods but looked the part.

Would have bought it if I hadn't spent so much on me car so far!

So pick up a standard one?!

But then i will have to pay out ?500 for body kit??? yes/no?

And wheels!!...

Can you explain more plz...

I always look in autotrader....seen 2 nice cars so far and twice they've gone b4 i speak to my dad.......my mum just doesnt understand cars what so ever.....and when there was this B reg nova with novadose bodykit, big bore, colour coded interior etc etc for ?500 all she could say was its a B reg......even tho cos of the recent repray etc it looked failry new......and i was told i can geta nova 1.2 engine for fuk all nearly!
