leather seats

i have just got a set of cavalier v6 leather seats and have been told my front sub frames on my sr seats go on and they go right in and have been told to take the leather off the cav rear seats and they go over mine and i fix them down on the back
is this true or can sum one tell me a better way

From what I remember, you can swap the entire 'backs' of the seats over by unbolting them, and you have to unstitch the 'bottom's of the seats and swap the leather onto the nova seat.
