dash lights help needed!!!

ive just changed the mlight on my dash the ones that light up the dials. when i connect the plug in to the back all the other light come on but the new ones dont. but when i pull the plug out half way the new bulbs come on with the rest:confused: :wall: . any body know why, and how i can fix it!! their dials out of an sr!

might be a lose wire in the plug go check that

aaaggggggghhhh!!! all the conections ar good!! i dont know what could be wrong!! any body know of ways of wiring up indipendant lights to the dash?

on the plug i think ist connection 12 and 7 that supply power to the bulbs none of them are showing live on my tester.

check that one of them goes to ground, then connect the other to the sidelights connection on the headlights switch?
