Coolant leaks

Are there any common problems for losing coolant? I found mine was going down over night, and identified a leaky clip and split hose. However now those are replaced I'm finding my coolant drops about 0.5-1cm during roughly an hour of running up to temperature. I'm unsure if it drops on its own accord over night as it's used regularly and kept topped up in fear of driving with no coolant.

If there are no external leaks then next thing to check is the head gasket.

That's not cool. Will quadruple check for leaks tomorrow before I panic. lol
