Ignition barrel problem

I have lost the keys to my girlfriends sri corsa, now i cant even get the barrel out because you need the key to turn it 2 click to pull the barrel out, im not up for taking the whole thing apart, How can i get the barrel out without the keys :confused:

think a drill is the only way, my mate bought a cavalier gsi a few weeks ago and we picked up the docys and key but the key for the doors never worked the ignition, after a while with a hammer and chisel we managed to get it to work with the key, this allowed me to turn it to position 2 and get the barrel out, would have drilled it if i had a drill with me that day but we didnt

for god's sake don't resort to the drill just yet.....

If you can get into the car, then work your way to the boot & remove the cover panel from the hatchback. there should be a label on the boot lock with the key code number. then try a good locksmith or the gm dealership.
