Have i gone slightly overboard with that Ibiza splitter. Its a damn site deeper than i expected. And the modest 35mm drop is yet to come :S

Does look rather deep but get some sideskirts and try and make the back bumper deeper and should look good!

agreed, will look for some skirts. rear bumper shouldnt be a problem, laguna splitter and heat gun will sort it!

See how it looks after lowering it (which is desperately needs!), although it shouldn't be road-scraping after 35mm lowering (if that's what you're worried about). As P Whack said try some skirts to even it up a bit.

Edit: Looks like a minter by the way, get some more pics up!

Edit2: Just realised you still have the bump strips on, skirts wouldn't look right IMO. Just leave it as it is, looks fine :thumb:

Noooooooooo! Keep it different and leave the bump strips on :D

Hmm. I'm not keen on the splitter, makes the bumper too deep and IMO you may well have issues once lowered.

I reckon keep the bump strips for now and black up those bumpers. Red/black looks much better than red/grey :D

trev, get down to your nearest Seat dealership, parts desk and request: 6k0805903e
that's the part number for the ibiza splitter, at ?17 brand new it's a bargin! better then the "used" (stolen) laguna splitters that come up on ebay for ?35!

i like the bump strips! and it means less work keeping them on! but it could do with evening out a bit. perhaps having a it lowered a smidgin will do the trick, i'll post up some more when its been done!

black and red does look better, how do you go about blacking it up though? does it need to be smoothed first? is there any product which you can apply straight on?

You can try some bumper black (as in simoniz bumper polish stuff), although I'm not sure how black that would make them.

A clean over then a few coats of satin black spray would look good IMO.

Splitter looks good on.

Just lower her and get some skirts!

i didnt want to have to take them off really, and spraying them would cover the red line in it.

it was about 3 centimeter from the asfalt with 14 inch and 165-65-14 tyres.

when i put my other 14 inch wheels on it i had a problem:P it was stuck to the asfalt without even me in it. lol
