ive been ringing round places and explaining what and want and fook me its damn expensive so does anyone know somewhere that makes proper cages but dont charge a fooking arm, leg and kidney for em

Custom Cages make erm....just that lol however there mega money lol

Scaffold pipe is waaaaaaaaaaaaay to thick to be bending with an "off the shelf" pipe bender...

just buy one, be cheaper, and better. if you want to add bits at a later date, then go for it!i cant buy an off the shelf one for mine tho hence needing a custon cage. ive been on the phone to custom cages tho and got what i think is a good price so will be shipping it off to them asap :).

and as for making my own and the scaffold pole and box section...... i want this cage for the purpose they are designed for so diy aint an option imo

i can get my mate to make you one fella.but you'd have to come down to essex. he makes loads for banger racing.but can make em loom pretty.

Dude i cant remeber where the guy worked but there was a lad on PVG that made full custom cages, and he came from Daventry (not too far for you)
So see if you can find a post on there about cages (google it or something) failing that maybe Lee knows who i mean,or can help point you in the right direction.

Burgo his name is Sturge on PVG and he works for Custom Cages.
Top guy. I always only ever seem to him at Billing.
