Since i found out the white one was dying and i'd had enough of the running of it, i looked around for buying a new one. Went onto Ebay for a look and come across a 1.2 Merit with 59k on the clock. Went and had a look at it, and it was really surprising, never seen a Nova so clean, that was standard! Told the bloke i'd have it and i'd trailor it back monday night, as it had no Tax. Trailored it home Monday night and run out of insurance on the SR on the Tuesday. This is how she looked when i managed to get some decent pics this morning :-

There is a few scratchs here and the but they'll get sorted soon! My plan with the new one is to get a really good suspension set-up over the year whilst building new engine to go in this time next year when insurance is due again. Once it's got some shocks and springs and some decent tyres and wheels on im gonna start to transform it. Gonna leave the dash, apart form put a set of SR clocks with rev counter, put my leccy windows and central locking out of the SR in there, SR front bumper and grill, SR spoiler and GSI skirts. Im almost definantly gonna put the SR steelies on the new one with some decent rubber.

Got up this morning to start swapping bits from white to blue and stripping the white one. First was to swap the SR seats into the Merit. Managed to get one swapped at this moment in time, as i got distracting by a couple of mates and began to get hungry. This is how she stands at the mo :-

Trip up to Neil's today, and come back with complete SR kit, Front ARB and a 4-1 Ashley Manifold. Setting about tomorrow cleaning them up and fitting them, will post a few more pic's up tomorrow when i've actually done somehting. The only thing i've done as of yet is fit my 3 Spokes, which look a bit crappy atm, no centre caps and need respraying TBH.

But tomorrow should be a good day :D

Got it all out the boot this morning and set about cleaning it all up to fit next weekend. Decided the front ARB and manifold are both going black, got to get some polybushes for the ARB before i fit it aswell, so if anyone's got any ;)

All looks a bit faded so started washing it, then back-to-black ing it with AutoGlym Bumper care.
