Hi people, got a bit of a problem and am p** with computer software...

Basically the laptop wont let me on to some sites, especially 'secure' ones, i.e Uni email, Skybet, Ebay, etc...

Any helpful tips would be great...

hows that pal? There is all kinds of computer related tomfoolery in Muppet Corner, not to mention the fact that Im probably being a muppet....

How do you connect to the internet (dial up direct to a phone line, via a router with other PCs, etc) and what browser are you using?

Its windows XP and its through a wireless router...altho it was doing it when connected to a wired router aswell....

Do you have any sort of firewall? Try disabling that.

Otherwise check your security level, restricted sites etc in the browser.
