Right i have got a cav on a nreg with a 1.8 8v and i want to put the engine in my 1.4 8v nova but will i need all the wiring loom and ecu or will it all plug in to the nova please help thanks

I wouldn't bother tbh.
The 1.8 8v engine is utter tosh. Assuming its a SPi model.

The engine bay will need welding, a conversion mount kit needed, 22spline shafts etc.

Yes piss poor engine, cant decide which is worse, the 1.6 carb or the 1.8 8v.
