think you need wiring and ecu plus shafts
its basically a 20XE conversion but with the lower powered sibling
if you really want to fit a 1.8...
fit the small block 1.8 16v
in the title you sed 16v but in the thread you sed 8v? if its an 8valve is say the sr engine would be faster! the 8v are only spi i think
i edited the title.... got confused lol

I'm pretty sure the 1.8 8v is 90bhp, my ex had one in her Cesaro. 1.4SR engine from a Nova is only 70ish bhp, the multipoint SRi engine is 82.
You'll need all the wiring loom from the cav engine if you're putting it in a carb car, not sure what gearbox that engine uses so dunno about shafts. You'll also need an injection fuel tank and pump if you're going from a carb to injection engine.

there is a 1.8 8v 115 bhp version (in belmont SRI's and early astra GTEs etc)
