I quite liked that Champ Man, but the one I remember playing the most was CM3! I can't remember any players though apart from a goalie Alvaro Nunez who was awesome and only cost about 400k!

I found probably a diamond formation worked best and used to a few seasons unbeaten and win everything :)

Do they do any games like day for 360? i'm abit bored of forza 2 now...

yup.. think its the one; (green box; white mitre delta on the front?) ... at first i had to play in 'low mem mode' so only had one background picture permanently (bobby robson holding a shield with players) and it took me months; maybe years to figure out pressing spacebar during a game sped the game up.. lol.
Can't remember any players names that well anymore tho..

Its a mitre magma but I'll let you off haha. lol I couldn't have lived with out the space bar thing, would have made it far to slow (not that it wasnt slow enough on my pentium 233mhz and 32mb ram lol).
Tom, I wasn't to keen on CM3, although it was pretty good.

Yeah they do, the makers of the CM games split from Eidos and have released their own game now called Football Manager, which still has that old school CM feel (the new CM's are different). I can lend you in swapsies for a while for Forza 2??

The amount of hours I used to spend on this was rediculous, home from school at 4, bed at 12 and the only two things inbetween....CM2 and tea :roll: lol
I heard of relationships breaking up etc due to the amount of time some guys used to spend on it. I think the term for the gf's was 'CM Widow' haha

Can't remember these guys names but I used to buy:
Icelandic DM/FC, something Gudjohnsen I think, about 36 when the game starts but comes back a few seasons later younger, really good.

Yes it used to fill the winter nights after school quite nicely! I remember playing the original CM at my mates house who was never off it and bought CM2 when it came out and loved it although it had my computer running on its limit lol CM3 was definately my fave one though, I might still have it somewhere... (makes mental note to go for a rumage when I finish work)

Martin Lauchlan is really good, I have him on one of my games, he is 27 (something like season 11!!!) and been named Euro player of the year :) lol.

i used to be addicted to this also, my mam started to get worried about me the amount of time i wud spend on this lol

i remember the critics using the term 'more addictive than heroin' lol

the new football manager version is great also, i recently started a new season again, in my 3rd season with newcastle, and still addicted lol
