Ok so ive finally got hold of one of these together with some mismatched instructions and after two days of fooking about I have narrowed down the problems to these two:

1) Where to connect the following hoses on the manifold/throttle body:

- FPR vacuum hose?
- Dizzy vacuum?
- Crank case breather hose?

As can be seen below there are two blanks.....

The other two arranged in an L shape, appear to simply form a tunnel around the side of the TB, as blowing through them is only obstructed by my thumb at the other end.

The instructions make reference to a suction pipe. Could that be one like this here on my GTE inlet, whereby the water flow creates suction:

So would I be right in thinking that I can take this off the GTE and connect the suction part to the bottom of the L shaped tunnel/pipe, attaching the FPR vacuum to the other end?

If so would the breather go on blank 1 and dizzy vacuum on blank 2?
2) Wiring loom ....

Heres what I have got that I know the locations for:

According to the insturctions i also need:

- one to the petrol pump
- one to the cranking motor (terminal 50 - I have found this on the car)
- one to the ignition coil (terminal 1 - I think found it)
- and one to fuse box (terminal 15 - I have found this on the car)

Assuming therefore that they must be among the following that I have not been able to identify on the loom:

This one above im thinking could be the fuel pump??

Although I cant find a plug like this in the engine bay:

And there were also these two sets of two white wires taped away in the loom near the injector plugs:

any ideas or does anyone know??

Lastly according to the instuctions I need a longer alternator belt which I obviously dont have yet, does anyone know which car I can get one from? Im thinking it will need to be just a couple of inches longer?

Thanks in advance for anyone that bothered to read all that it would be great if anyone can help.:thumb:

copied from my reply on mig

the tube in an L shape is for heating the TB from the coolant circuit

all Vacs will be from the engine side of the TB.

crank breather could well goto the tube between runners 3 and 4

the two pipes on the throttle bodie are just for water and therefore not needed. and the green wire i would say is your rev counter

Thanks for your help so far guys.

That one between the 3rd and 4th runners is for the idle/secondary air valve.

The instructions seemed to suggest that the breather go on blank 1, I would have thought that the dizzy vac can go on blank 2. Which leaves the FPR vac????? lol

I have a tap and die set, could I simply drill out the blanks, put a thread in the Alu and screw in a nozzle - if such things are available?

Just tap a thread into one of the blanks, and use a t-piece to share the vacuum.

OR, does it have a take-off for the brake servo vacuum?
If so, just t into that pipe, save drilling holes.

OK so all the hose locations are sorted thanks to this pic from novacabrio:

Looks like i need to tap all three blanks and add hose barbs if I can find some threaded ones lol

Just need to sort out the wiring :-(

Thats a point, now that I will be running injection will I need to change my oil?

At the mo I use 10W40 mineral as the car is a 1988? Should I be using a thinner semi with injection now or does that not make a difference?

No difference

Saves buying more oil then, although i do need to do a change.

So that just leaves the wires then, il further strip the loom tomorrow and trace the wires back to their sources i think.

Thanks for the help everyone, im nearly there me thinks :-)
