Missing Brackets?

Hey yall

i just bought a Gte stylr front bumper to fit on to my 1.4 and just wonder ing what brackets and stuff do i need, coz it wont fit coz theres no mountings ta

Just use the brackets off your original bumper. If it is a mk1 that the GTE bumper is going onto, the it will go straight on with your original brackets

But its an original Gm Gte bumper that i bought from dixions vauxhall spares brand new and i m trying to fit it to a Mrk2, what bits will i require co z its the the bumper by its self and the metal bracket thingy from the orignal 1.4 bumper doesnt fit the gte bumper? :oops:

if both the bumpers are mark one, the metal carriage bar WILL fit. If it dont, there is something wrong. You will need to find a GTE bumper and nick the carriage bar. The side clips are the same but cos it is a mk1 bumper going onto a mk2, the holes in the wings are in a different place, so you will have to drill new ones where the brackets go. Dont forget to do something with the new holes to stop them rusting.
