XE starting problems - a possible help here!

Just fixed major starting problems with my C20XE conversion on my Vectra.

Turned out to be a crank sensor not fitting far enough into the block to get a signal from the crank trigger wheel.

Mine doesnt start, been told its the fuel pump though, will have to pay ?100+ for one as i cant get a cheaper ebay thing thanks to this damned postal strike, what a ball ache. It did have a leccy one, god knows what i should replace it with. Any ideas????
