Finally the old girl got scrapped last weekend. Its been sat in my mates garage having bits ripped & pillaged from her for a year now. The last time I drove it was the day I put it there when we went to pick up my TD from Twag.
Notable parts I'd sold or used from it were the mk2 dash, seats, rear seat brackets, powerflow tail box, windscreen, headlamps, heater motor, C/L, electric sunroof motor (thats the ++ bit) and loads more screws & fasteners etc. Last few times it ran, it was firing on 3 cylinders for a few minutes early in the mornings & I was thinking the head gasket was on its way out, after all as a result of its underpowered 1.2 spi, I was giving it death everywhere.
Well after nearly a year of sitting, I put another battery on it & fired up beautifully 1st turn of the key. She knew she was meeting her maker.

As you can see, we had much fun ripping it to bits & my mate Si who's garage it was in turned into a total child when given the oppurtunity to wreck a car. He bent the doors back (well rotted), sawed through the roof with a rusty wood saw & generally abused the hell out of it!
Just for reference, here she is in her glory days.
As purchased
