17 seconds for the GTE according to Carfolio. Shouldn't think the GSi would be that much different tbh.

the book used to say 9.1 for a standard new item. Also please type properly, it will help you get along alot better on here :thumb:

A ?70 air filter you say, then it surely must do 0-60 in 7 seconds!
You've sure made everyone on here with their 2.0 engine conversions look foolish, if only they had known that a cheery bomb exhaust added 50 BHP to a 1.4

One elephant, two elephant, thrreeee elephaaaannt... fooooouuuur.... lol

Also strip the car right out - shedding every possible kilo will help lots, and its free :D

you lie iain, you havent seen it

Jack
04-10-07, 08:33 PM
Nah that'll make it slower. You need to leave the rear seats in at least so you can lay them flat and gain 100bhp

0-60 on a sri is about 9.5-10secs, and top speed about 115.

I managed a 16.2 second 1/4 when mine was a standard GSi apart from filter (not a ?70 one so that must have been the problem)

I managed a 16.5 at PVS 06, thats std gte with an induction kit, to get in the 15s you would need twin carbs, cam, decent manifold/exhaust and headwork wouldnt go a miss.

Or fit a 2.0 and already be in the 14s
