1.0 clocks to sr clocks

im changing my clocks on my mk2 nova from standard 1.0 ones on a 1.0 loom to what i think are sr clocks. i have one green wire left on 1.0 loom, the oil gauge is reading max, lights are working ok. but the blue light for full lights is only coming on not the dims light. anyone know where i have went wrong

Dims light?
Do you mean dipped beam? I don't think there is one.
Also if you have an oil pressure gauge then their GSI items.

yeah sorry dipped beam. and lights arent coming on on the dash either.

think you must have the wires the wrong way round for the lights

do you know which ones are the lights wires

no its just try and error till you get them right

Trace the wires on the track to see where they go and compare each set of clocks, sometimes it's not just a case of matching wire colours.

I am looking at the back of my 1.0 clocks and the clock bulbs are run off the 4th wire down on the left being positive and the top right being the earth.

Just checked again, the R/H 2nd from bottom wire is also the dash bulb positive, it solely supplies the furthest most R/H bulb.
