Hi.guys

(First.of.all.let.me.apolgise.for.my.lack.of.space .bar:tard: )

Looks.like.i've.roasted.my.redtop

Checked.it.the.other.day,before.i.knew.

There.was.no.water.in.it.so.topped.up.the.water.an d.the.water.pipes.went.solid.after.a.few.mins.of.r unning.it:cry:

Anyways.im.assuming.its.the.headgasket.and.ill.pro bably.need.it.skimmed.

Is.there.any.particularly.good.headgaskets.and.hea dbolts.to.use/change.when.doing.this?

Any.advice.in.anyway.always.appreciated.

If its just a std XE then any headset / gasket should be up to the job, AutoVaux are pretty good and resonably priced.
Once the heads off, if the head gaskets ok then its time to check for cracks in the head !!
I'm just finishing off sorting mine, had a tiny crack between the water way and the valve seat on No3 cylinder.
