Is there a plate you can buy that you weld/revit (sp) yourself or have you got to fabricate one, if you have to fabricate one what have most people people used?
Alloy etc how thick?
what have you guys used to hold it in place?

Peice from the middle of a bonnet should have a good contour to it. Rivet it on & use tiger seal between the sheets.

polycarb sunroof tigersealed in. id keep it tbh, always nica and another escape route if the worst should happen!
Yeah, but then if you go Australian there's a chance you'll get showered with shards of broken glass. Plus removing it saves a little weight.
What about looking for a scrap nova and chopping a section of the roof skin off to cover the sunroof hole?

i would go scrap yard and cut a piece of roof out to make a plate from
i have a calibra sunroof (metel sheet) i was going to use it for this purpose but but i ve decded to keep the nova sunroof now
