There aren't many speed traps at all where I live but on my way into manchester along the A627 and A62 there are loads, think I got done by a truvello, just gotta wait and see :-( Also cop cars just sitting on the M62 watching the traffic on the fastest parts. I think there are unmarked ones aswell

I got stopped by some copper on a pushbike with a speedgun! He stood out in the middle of the road to stop me. He was in a bright jacket but standing in front of a yellow van, didnt see him till he stood out.

His bike had police written all over it and on his helmet. Looked a right 'tard and didnt even know what car i was driving. He tried to find badges before asking me what it was lol He had run out of fixed panalty tickets (handing them out like christmas cards all day?) so ive gotta hope nothing comes through now.

Just out of curiousity what do you guys think about the speed camera jammers? like the auto garage door operners? they cause the camera to read a error message to the user? Might have to get one if these things are going to get used more often, we have loads around Eastbourne and Brighton but i know were most of them are now but may need to go to another county for some reason and the gps only shows fixed locations. The ones that block them are illegal in this country to the best of my knowledge.

Some measures are not blocked by them anyway, the Truvelo systems do not emit anything, and just strips in the road to judge your speed.

I was under the impression Truvelo did use radar, but used an infra red picture? I'm certain I've seen one before that didn't have strips in the road.

Laser jammers only work against laser (so specs, vascar, gatso, truvelo, etc will still get you), and tbh if the gun comes up with an error code then Mr Policeman is going to nick you anyway just so he can give your car a looksee. And they can impound you car for just about anything these days, so the "garage door opener" isn't going to work really!
