Well i thought id come show my face. havnt been on for a while since i sold my nova (A19 NVA).
Anyway thought id come show you all my new toy. i know its not a vauxhall nova but im sure many of you will appreciate this classic beast...

Spec is enormous. She's running 190bhp and 205 pound of torque

Hi mate love these motors, does it matter being on a Q reg as i had a s2 rs on a Q and they would only insure me fully comp witch cost a fortune cos of my age at the time. Anyway very nice looking motor mate & welcome back :thumb:

Massive spec but only running 190BHP??? Must be uber low boost as thy're 130BHP as standard. What's the spec?

really love these cars , only thing that puts me of is the awfull dash lol

a few of the one's that live local ish to me got a Q plate aswell , but tha twas cos it was stolen when it was nearly new and had a lot of bits removed

190bhp out a 1.6 would be a huge spec i reckon, its not a simple case of winding up the boost (if your doing it properly anyway)

cheers all. yeh cars been re-shelled back in 2004, but was done properly so its on a q plate. cars only running 14psi i could turn it up and run silly bhp but i dont need to 190bhp is more than quick enough. the car gets more respect when its standing still anyway lol

Not sure about the raised bonnet though, I've seen tests that suggest it actually raises the temperature underneath

pffft Mondeo rims!!! there escort cossie rims!
Standard rims wouldnt fit now due to the big brake conversion.

looking at american tallblock bottom ends atm. bit more expensive but seem to give better power increases. We shall see what next year has to bring once ive done the show season in her.
