They do work, I had one on my 2cv it added an extra 34.5 bhp proven on a rolling road

Yes it works, just badly.

Lets do the math.
A 1600 engine running at 2000rpm on full throttle tries to suck in 1600litres per minute.
a belt driven supercharger will draw about 25 hp but make 50.
a 25 hp electric motor at 12v will draw 1554 amps........

once someone fits it & it runs, there goes the warranty, also foolish pride will account for the +ve feedback on ebay
so that poxy little fan will do sod all except trick the airflow meter at tickover into giving about 3hp extra power.

Adds about as much power as putting the rear seats down. IMO. Well worth the time, effort and money.

If you want performance on the cheap - strip your car of weight.
