Motorsport/rally colours

What are the actual colours for Vauxhall, and obviously Novas, in rally and motorsport? I see the Sport has red-grey-yellow stripes, however the dealer GM stickers are red-blue-yellow.

Can anybody offer an explanation to what colours mean what?

Mid 90's or so onwards is the red/white/grey combo, older 80s stuff is the yellow graphics.

I think your best bet would be to go on youtube and look at the vids they have on there of rally nova's. they have a few with different colours on them

Plenty of works car pics etc about. Solar Yellow (GM colour) would be accurate for the Yellow I reckon.

Try serching Malcolm Wilson - Astra GTE or Dave Metcalfe Nova GSi on google image searches.

Anyone know anyone or anywhere decent that do the stripes accross the bonnet? After that factory rally look on mine.

i wouldnt fancy fitting vinyl along the windscreen scuttle due to all the slots!!!!
it would be easier to paint it

(geek mode) the touring car version of the yellow, red, blue stripe design didn't have the blue stripe, just the yellow and red. (geek mode off)
