You can buy pattern parts to replace the slam panel with. Try Sel Imperial or Beevers Auto Panels.

Its called a front panel. You can buy an 'upper fr panel' which is the part the lights & grille etc attach to or buy the whole 'front panel complete' which sounds like it might be overkill.

An upper front panel from a pattern parts supplier (motor factors) is approx ?40
