Sump/pickup pipe

Evening all. Im in the process of building a 1600 8v. Iv decided to use the 1600 16v sump due to it being baffled. Should i be using the oil pickup pipe from the 1600 16v?

Any help is appreciated

isnt the 8V sump baffled and it also has a separate windage tray??

I havnt atually tacken the 8v sump off yet. Im just going off what other people have done/suggested.

the 16v one does have more baffles, not sure where the oil pick up sits to be honest though.

the oil pick might be the same but cant remember so best thing is to use both the 16v items then you know it'll be fine.

I've used the 16v sump on my 8v block too. I've just used 8v pickup pipe on mine, however it did need bending a touch to sit in the cut out nicely.
