well guys i was looking forward to going and it didnt disapoint.

there was some really fast novas and some other vauxhalls.

i was walking about checking out some vectras when my dads freind came in with her 1.8sr nova. it has been a 1.8 from the factory and i belive there isnt alot left. she took it down the strip and managed 16.28 seconds at 98mph.

if anybody has any info on the 1.8sr novas i would like to find out more.

Its the Black SR with Irmscher bumpers, yeah?
It wasnt from the factory. Maybe converted after it was new but not from Spain or GM as a 1.8.

I'd love a go in it. I always wanted a 1.8S big block 8v Nova back when I first saw people building XE Novas in mid 90's.

Lush car but I'd prefer it with std snowplough bumper if it were mine & I'd have to put the vinyl back on the sides with bumpstrips. Still retro though & I love it for that!

hiya, i am the owner/driver of the black nova. as far as i know it got converted to a 1.8 in 1986 (the year after it was made). if i put the vinyl back along the doors and changed the front bumper it would look like other novas in my area, its the only nova i have seen that has got this kit on it! debbie.xx p.s lynz i didnt think you liked my nova, the last time you were slagging it!!!!

yeah it is a full irmscher body kit, i might be wrong but the only other novas that i have seen with it are the nova spyder's! thanks for the comments about it, have still got a few bits and bobs to do to it so it will be looking even better in a few months!!xx :)
