cylinder head work

does anyone know anywere in the north west that does cylinder head work. want my head skimming and maybe polished and ported, how much would i be looking at?

?20 for a skim... any engineering place can do this.

what head is it for? if tis a 1.4carb/spi or 1.2 spi the its pointless getting any porting done, over fitting a better head.

An engineering machinists workshop or similar/engine builders will carry out a skim. ?40ish here though - (dirrty South)!

Theres sometimes ported heads on ebay for the big block 8v engines.
