well actually the wife did.
Only went "looking" for a new "vehicle" on Saturday - stopped at one showroom and ended up buying a 4x4!
:eek::eek::eek:
Actually theres a reason - wife's bought a new horse and rather then buy a horse box (we had one last year but when prev horse died we sold it) thought more practical to get 4x4 and a trailer.
So got a Kia Sorento 2.5 CRDi XE (or summut like that). Amazing value - 07 plate - 2 months old (pre reg) excellent trade in on the volvo (53 plate 2ltr s40 sport) and because they kept us hanging about all day Saturday trying to find a feckin post office that was open to tax it, and we couldnt drive it away on the day, got 2 free services too - and a set of mats!
:thumb:
For the price and the spec inside (as well as it winning awards for best towing capacity 2 yrs running in its class) it was a steal.
I fancied a Landy but as its wifes motor and she does a fair few miles to work and back she wants comfort.
Was sorry to see the Volvo go - was a lovely car and although the Sorento's a higher tax bracket (something to do with the colour green?) it should be cheaper to run that the Volvo (which drank petrol for the hell of it!)

It's getting a tow bar fitted next week...
Anyone know where I can source a nice set of rusty bull bars?
