hi all,
collected my new gte engine today, but one of the ball bearings popped out of the cv joint...
is this repairable or is it a replacement job? never done an inner cv joint before :(
if it is a replacement job, how much are they? and are they easy to fit?
thanks chris
One bearing can't pop out unless the centre bit isn't there, i pulled one of mine aprt when trying to remove it a while ago, i tried for ages the other week to reassemble it but didn't have any joy.
Not saying its not doable tho.

forgot to say, aren't there "needles" around the balls?!? that is what i've been told... trying to find the cheapest place to get a set of inner cv's, trying to keep the build costs down!! not earning alot at the mo, in fact you could call it working for free...
