snaped exhaust studs!!!!

changing the manifold on my x20xev i no 1 stud has snaped already how am i goin to get these out if anymore snap?? there should still b a little bit of the stud showing when i take the manifold off need to get this sorted over the weekend!

If theres a bit left sticking out the head, just undo them with mole grips.

Spray some penetrating fluid onto it and be careful with the mole grips.

i normally use a hammer and chiesel and tap it round if failing that drill it out but watch how far you go

Weld a nut on it.

save time and effort before you mangle the bit os stud stickoing out the head and buy a stud exctactor (unipart or motorfactors have them) best to get a goos grip without chewing it up.

thanks for all the info i have been trying all day to fing a manifold at a breakers but no luck think im going to have to order a new 1 and do it next weekend

i have been told not to buy a eaSY OUT( BACKWARDS THREAD) but get the ones that go on the outside
