Hi im new to this forum, im looking for a Nova SRI to restore & i stumbled across this site from google. My Nova fetish started 11 years ago when my mate bought a Nova SRI. It was flame red & totally standard apart from some black 14" 100+ alloys (which was unheard of 11 years ago) Unfortunatley it got spanked in the rear quarter!!!
From that point it had a new rear quarter, full respray colour coded bumpers & door handles, de-locked & flushed boot yet remained with number plate in the same place, meshed grill in black honeycomb with corsa SRI badge. It also had rear arches rolled & flaired to house a set of 15" by 7" stealths, lowered & a big bore 4 (remember this was 11 years ago so this can be forgiven) My mate decided to sell up to make way for a R5 GT turbo so i jumped at the chance to buy the sri. I put down a ?150 deposit & drew another ?3000 out to pay for the rest but i was quickly brought back down to earth with a ?2500 insurance quote. I didnt go through with the sale & the car was lost. However another of my mates bought it (had a very rich mummy & daddy) & abused the hell out of this car!!! It ended up with a knackered engine & a roof tile landing on it putting a large dent in the roof!!! It was then sold on very cheaply as a non runner & i never saw it again until today!!!! I came across it in Featured cars & i would very much like to own this car. So if you own it & want to sell it, please let me know. I hope she's not dead!!!!
