I want to buy some 16" Wheels for my car, what width of wheel, size of tyre do i need, offset and any arch mods needed, car is mk1 SR lowered 30mm all round

You want 45-49 mm offset wheels that are either 6-7" wide and you will need 195/45*16" tyres. If you go for 7" wide wheels then you need 45mm offset wheels and would probably need the rear arches rolled for clearence. Hope this helps you, Rick

If your looking for somewhere to get arches rolled, I think the RSR Wheels & Tyres group have a nova arch roller.

you will DEFFO need arch mods with a 16" wheel on a mk1.

I had a 49mm offset, 195/45/16 pirreli tyres and dropped 60mm. I only had to roll the rear arches.

My mate has his lowered about 80-90mm and has had to roll all the arches. Looks sweet though.
