Ok my cheque cleared today from work and so far i have tried to pay for stuff online with my card E.G memberships and buying stuff and i keep getting replies like ... ""The payment was declined. Reason: This payment was not accepted by the credit card processing company. Please contact your credit card company to correct the problem. You may also enter information for a different card and try again.""
and
""Your transaction failed to process and your card has not been charged. Please try again at a later time.""

WTF is going on i have never had problems with my bank before.

Any input is much appreciated.. cheers!!! :)

EDIT - And yes their is money in the account i have checked it online 4 times.

Used the same site before? With the same card? What kinda card is it?

Is your bank Northern Rock? Has some northern monkey run off with all your cash lol

Yes i have used my card on all the sites at least 4 times each.

The card is a VISA ELECTRON.

Hmm, electrons are ghey. Loads of places get funny about them... dunno really, does your bank have a customer helpline?

Yup a lot of places don't take electron...
set up a paypal & trade that way.
the bank might have issued a new card & it could still be in the post..

Why does the paper shop send your wages by cheque?

WTF are we, some sort of amazing organisation that can fix credit and transaction problems?

Do you call your bank and ask them about problems with this forum? lol

Rang up my bank and they told me that yes i did put the cheque in 8 days ago but it won't clear till tomorrow...

WTF so it's taken 9 working days for my cheque to clear what aload of bull!!!

get paid properly in cash or by bacs, makes life hell of a lot easier.

This is the 1st time it has taken that long though normally takes 5-7days. That's why i couldn't understand it.
