Good motor, still fetch loads of money. You will need to have a petrol tanker follow you round mind. 325is came with LSD i think. They're very tail happy. For instance same car round a roundabout, 15mph, slight throttle and the backend brakes away. Tappets can be a right **** to do, valve guides sometimes drop through too. Other than that rust as its an old motor, round the windscreen is favourite.

would be buying a clean if i do. hear they can have soft enough engines, is this just if there been drivin to the limit the whole time or what. i heard to stay away from the ones with twin computers

my mates sellin a minter if your interested...

bring a lad thats owned 1 be4, over here as you know the main use is for donuts so be carefull...
headgaskets, tappits, lsd 1 wheeling and most importantly major rust are all common problems with these cars...

they are pricey to buy and buy parts for.. and finding a good one is getting difficult. I wouldn't say the engines are hugely 'soft' just that nearly all are going to have over 100k mileages and its down to how well they were maintained previously rather than owners putting theyre foot down a bit here n there,..
Would this be as a daily runner or a more second/weekend/fun car..?

there a great car, as said above, overheated ones love to warp heads. if the diff has been rebuilt, why? they dont break for no reason and alot of irish ones at the moment have had them rebuilt, plus you know what irish lads are like, many have been kained half to death. best to buy one in england, plus tax is HEAVY! not to mention insurance and petrol.

would be strictly a weekend car. would have a budget of €6000. would be looking one with engine rebuilt. there is a lot of them over here with engine rebuilds. have to sell my civic coupe before i can look properly for one. are the engines all the same in them or did they change in any years
