i'm going to pick up my new shell tomorrow, and was wondering if you can tow with a rigid bar on the motorway??

the mot on the nova ran out 3days ago, although it still has tax. bit annoying as i could just insure it for a day and drive it...

cheers chris

tax has run out, so really shouldn't be on the road...

its ok if there is no tax anyway when its on a bar as its classed as a trailer

Doesn't it then fall into some odd rules for weight restrictions on a trailer?

yes if you passed your test after jan 1997 you can only tow upto 750kg,

if you passed before then your ok but if you passed after then you need to take a seperate trailer test to be legal
