brake cable snapped - URGENT!

Hi guys. Need advice on how easy it is to fit a brake cable. Mine just snapped on me on a pretty steep hill and by pants filled quickly! Dead embarassing had to wave people round me - stick like a muppet with strings cut! Had to roll back down hill and crawl home! And was testing out me new K&N (for the short blast I was driving car fucking flies!!!)
Haynes looks straight fwd - ne thing I need to look out for or should I get it done professionally?

do it yourself mate. Nothing too trick. just look carefully how you took the old one off. Do it by the book. Not worth paying someone to do it for ya!

Unless you wanna pay me? New cables are only about a tenner fro vauxhall. It is the handbrake cable your'e talking about aint it?

just done mine as it failed on its mot - doh

get both as the other 1 will be a weak link

quite simple ,nothin hard to do
