Front left.What mount are you all using? I want to use the Chassis mount from an Astra instead of keeping the origional Mount and using a Custom job.

as in looking at the car into the bay, fron left??

i cut lowered and welded my mount

I use the mk2 astra mounts.
Cut and weld the chassis bracket..

If ur welding is good go for the above way, if not then use a custom mount/bracket that retains the existing chassis mounting point

well dod i ordered a mount off chris astley it was only 40 pound and he had no problem sending to rep of ireland. better off than cutting off the nova mount, that is of course if you havent already cut if off?

Cut Nova mount off, Lower 38mm to be precise and reweld on, use astra mk2 mount that goes from engine block to rubber engine mount.

I use the mounts from valvers i think they are the same as Chris astley.

No Will, but its time consuming to get. I need it sorted this weekend. Is there a How to Guide or anyone with Pics that i can Study?

You drill the spot welds on the mount, so the mount falls into your hand.

Then you re-weld it on 38mm lower.

It really is that simple!!!!

Drop it straight, in the same line as the origional? Doesnt need to go forward or back?

if you dont weld it good enough it will come away.

im sure you could find the mount on ebay and talk to the seller and ask them to get it deliverd special delivery first class next day or whatever it is to make sure its there by weekend.
