it started by mike wanting a new engine for his after the theives killed it , so i sold him mine

1st assemble the crane

well we started mincing after work again today but they are a twa.t to work on it a corsa as you cant reach anything ,

day got of to a great start by snapping a socket adaptor with one little pull lol , it stayed like that most of the day aswell ended up having to saw the exhaust nuts off with a crappy saw, smash the track rod end bolt off (anyone got 2 track rod ends pikey style as i might of damaged his)

cut my knuckles pulling some vacume pipes off and how lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn nnnnnnng are the throttle cables FFS

only good bit was when my misses drove from my our flat to my garage (about a mile) with sausage buttys for me and ste , and a brew with cling film on top of the cup lol

anyhow enough ramble will carry on tomorrow i hope

worst bit is just under where the header tank would sit , a small patch there ignore the silicone my sealer came off about a yr ago so i siliconed it to stop the wet stuff getting in lol

it was going to be painted last night... but i didnt want to paint it until riggy was there. so i went home and got three lots of chips and sausage from the chippy.

The novas all in primer now, I need to prep the bumper's the bonnets been done, and the boot lid also.

I'll be back on it tomorrow i think it just needs the body flatting with 800's the boot lid needs priming and there is a small repair that needs doing to the n/s wing which will take all of 5 mins.

Grill, Wing mirror covers need flatting properly and priming still loads left to do and i've also got a mk5 astra and a corsa C to do now before next week.... i'm gona be a busy busy boy lol

I'd have removed the servo, steering rack etc. It takes as much work to mask them off as it does to unbolt them!

Bolt off, bolt on chap.

A line of bolts along the top wing edge
One on the sill edge by the doors.
Should also be a self tapper accessed from inside.
Couple more bolts inside the arch at the front to tie the wing to the front panel.

Also your supposed to apply a sealent to the top edge of the wing.
