I have a nova GSi drivers seat with bolster wear. I have heard you can use the right side bolster from a passenger seat and replace the drivers bolster with this??
Is it hard to do?
Not sure on that way of doing it?
But you can mount a passenger seat on a drivers side subframe. The only difference then is the winder and lever to put the seat down is on the wrong side. Just a suggestion to throw in the melting pot.

is it the foam or the fabric you want to replace
if its the foam you need to dismantle the seat and its a bit of an anus to do.
The seat actually comes apart ot the hinge (2 clips) If its the back bolster its not too bad (its a 1 piece foam iirc) but the seat bolsters a pain because of the hog rings that pull the material into the seat - these need to be removed and reassembled.
The base is a 1 piece moulding too. If you prise the seat apart at the gaps you'll see the metal rings.
If its the material thats gone youre probably easier just sewing another bit over it like a patch - or getting it done professionally...
I'm gonna try and retrim mine (again) in the winter so I'll keep a post.
For reference hog ringed pliers are about ?40 and the rings come in boxes of 100 for a fiver!
They are special pliers that hold metal rings in their jaws until you close them (around the supporting wires) then they release.
And you cant use normal pliers I tried and lost my temper!
