What things? You mean the speed? He makes no reference to being on the road so could well have been on track, so he's not incriminating himself.

Not that I'd buy a car from a person with such crap spelling mind you.

152mph out of a standard astra GTE, nuff respect. People really do need to grow the fook up an realise certain things.

lol, there is a medical term.

Its called 'believing vauxhall speedo syndrome'

A lot of people suffer from it.

Remember having an argument with someone with regards to reaching take off speed in his nova, I politely explained some things but then he said "yeah but I have a photo of my digi dash saying it, so its got to be true" its hard to try an explain to people that stupid.

Astra GTE won't do >150mph. Everyone knows a 1.2 nova will though.

you can make a standard 1.2 nova do 120mph by 2 different methods.
1. tow it with something v. fast ie an imprezza wrx.
2. borrow a hercules transporter and at about 12000ft chuck it out the back.

What would impress me about a digi dash is if somebody got one to read the right speed.

Hmm, I was under the impression digidashes were supposed to be more accurate than the std dials (although me licking my finger and sticking out the window would be more accurate than the standard dials). Are they not? Oooh thats another one in the eye for those crappy knight rider-esque piece of 80's chic lol

i dont think digi dials are acurate at all, i was in my mates nova other day i was in first gear just crawling over a speedbump it read 17mph, i wasnt hardly moving, as for normal dials, its something to do with the wheels to the gearbox to the cable there is some kind of false reading somewhere, 6% out or something so i read somewhere, but i cant see how road angels are 100% accurate as the signal goes like 3 million miles into thwe sky and back again to give a speed reading, surely there just as in accurate as speedos, or am wrong

The latter would certainly be more amusing

Its mind boggling just how crap they are. You have to remember the biggest wheel ever old as standard on a Nova was a 14 inch. Poverty spec had 13 inch.

Most of our Novas run 15, sometimes 16 inch wheels. This should technically help to make the speedo read slower at a certain speed than it did as standard.

but NO, they continue to read 'warp factor 10' when your being overtaken by a proton!
