Hi Guys,

This may be a silly question. Does anyone know what handbrake cable you need to use when carrying out a rear disc conversion on a nova?

I have spoken to my mate who has a rear disc set up on his corsa, he said he thought he used an astra cable but he can't remember.

Really appreciate your help on this one.

Cheers :thumb:

You can use and astra mk3 cable, but it needs extra brackets on.

You need a 1.6 cavalier with drums short cable (goes to drivers side) and use the nova long cable (goes to passenger side). You will need to lengthen the adjusting thread on the cav cable, the rest is straight forward

Thanks for that guys. I will have a go at the weekend. When you say lengthen the thread on the cav cable, how do you mean?
