Vinyl

Hi guys and girls, I've got an SR with Vynal running along the bottom of the car, now I know that this traps water if so much theres so much as a pin prick and my doors and wings have suffered :( As I want to keep the vynil, i'm going to re-do it. What i'm wondering is if theres a more durable coating i can apply under the vynal, such as a rust preventative one, or if theres a vynal effect paint. Iirc Kieth was on about something similar for using on his b pillars? :thumb:

Just find a Satin finsh paint that is close the Vinyl mate.

Rover huricane grey if you want to paint it, alternativley i have vynal for sale

anthracite did the job for me, but as said Rover huricane grey is a better match. iv'e done the same for my gsi, replaced all the vynal with anthracite spray.
