im planning to waxoil my nova within the next few weeks, just wondering is there any places i should do that are easily overlooked?im going to drill a few 10mm holes through the boot floor along the length of the chassis legs and pump waxoil down into the legs, anywhere else that could do with a dosing thats hard to get at or not so obvious?
thanks,
Shane

There's a massive area between the road and the top of the car that rusts a lot lol.
Pisstaking aside, check the whole chassis, this includes removing the front wings, carpets etc..

also remove the inside cards under the rear windows and get to the back arches as they go in there as well and try to do underneath in the boot corners

Just wax oiled mine recently. I would like to offer the following advice as doing it this way was so easy. Take lid of metal wax oil can and gently heat up above a stove (or mini - BBQ etc) until quite runny. Occassionally put lid on and shake to mix contents. I used a fence pressure sprayer with a long 'wand' on it and this worked fine - no blockages even if it goes cold.
Now the area I would suggest:
1. Remove cards below rear side windows, you will find if you have a fairly long wand on your sprayer you can feed it most of the way down the inside of the sills.
2. Also feed the wand down the holes from around the battery compartment that is used for drainage to the inside rear of the front wings. Turn the wand around in there to cover all surfaces.
3. All inside front cross member and even into front chassis legs (only really possible with bumper removed) - though I have never seen a nova rusting in front chassis legs.
4. Try and get a good covering into all holes in chassis behind front wheels.
This will only take 15-30 mins of easy spraying using my method. I'm sure others have there own methods. you will use around 3-4 litres for a good covering.
