whats the difference in the drive shafts that would be in a 1.0 or 1.2 nova compared to the gsi ones.

If you mean for a conversion, I believe you can use the 1.2 ones for the 1.6

Not sure about 1.0 ones, may be diffrent.

If the 1.0 uses an F10 gearbox then, yea they will fit as will all other nova shafts.

1L, 1.2 and most/all 1.6 Gsi shafts are the same fitment.

What Ad says, my 1.6 is using SR shafts :thumb:

well i had a 1.0 with for speed box. then switched to a 1.2 with 5 speed box. blew a hole in gearbox now im using a gearbox of an old gsi engine my brother had. this is with 1.0 shafts. if they seem to be all the same how come for the 16v conversion they say to use gsi ones, are they stronger

You use gte or td shafts for big block conversion.
It just happens that they have 22splines on the inner end, so they can be fitted with big block mk2 cav cv's.

All nova shafts fit ALL novas, as the cv splines are the same.
